The BLSCM Final Year Top-Up Degree Program covers the following modules: 

  1. Logistics Management Essentials

    In this course, students will explore the fundamentals of logistics management, including an introduction to key concepts in logistics and the supply chain. They will learn about various transportation modes, regulations, and optimization strategies. Warehouse operations will be covered, including layout design, processes, and efficiency improvement techniques. Additionally, students will delve into inventory control basics, such as principles and techniques, as well as order processing, fulfillment procedures, and the evaluation of logistics performance using metrics. The course will also include an overview of logistics information systems and their role in managing logistics operations effectively.

     

  2. Inventory Management

    This course will focus on the importance and functions of inventory within supply chains. Students will learn about inventory classification methods, such as ABC analysis, and various inventory costing techniques, including FIFO, LIFO, and weighted average. Inventory control techniques, such as EOQ and JIT, will be explored in detail, along with forecasting and demand planning strategies. Additionally, students will examine inventory optimization strategies to minimize costs while meeting demand, vendor-managed inventory (VMI) systems, and inventory auditing techniques to ensure accuracy.

     

  3. Supply Chain Dynamics

    In this course, students will gain an understanding of the structure and components of supply chain networks. They will explore strategies for supply chain integration and collaboration, demand-supply matching techniques, and principles of lean and agile supply chain management. The course will also cover resilient supply chain strategies for mitigating risks and disruptions, supply chain risk management practices, and considerations for sustainability within supply chains, including environmental and social responsibility.

     

  4. Warehousing and Emerging Trends

    This course will cover the role and importance of warehousing in supply chains, including warehouse operations, layout design, and optimization strategies. Students will learn about storage and handling techniques, warehousing equipment, and technology innovations. The course will also explore cross-docking and consolidation practices, sustainable warehousing principles, and emerging trends such as automation, robotics, 3D printing, and drone delivery in warehousing operations.

     

  5. Logistics Management Systems

    In this course, students will receive an overview of logistics management systems (LMS), including transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS). They will learn about the features and functions of TMS and WMS, their role in improving supply chain efficiency, and integration with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. The course will also cover the benefits and challenges of logistics management systems implementation, adoption considerations, and real-world case studies showcasing their applications in logistics operations.

     

  6. Leadership and Organizational Behavior

    This course will focus on principles of leadership and organizational behavior within the context of supply chain management. Students will explore leadership styles, motivation theories, team dynamics, and conflict resolution strategies. They will also examine organizational culture, change management principles, and effective communication strategies for leading and managing teams within supply chain organizations.

     

  7. Sustainable Business Practices

    In this course, students will learn about the importance of sustainability in business operations, with a focus on sustainable practices within the supply chain. Topics will include environmental sustainability, social responsibility, ethical sourcing, and sustainable procurement practices. Students will explore case studies of organizations implementing sustainable business practices and examine strategies for integrating sustainability into supply chain management processes.

     

  8. Capstone Project

    The capstone project is the culminating experience of the Bachelor of Supply Chain Management program. Students will apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the program to solve a real-world supply chain management problem or address a specific challenge faced by an organization. Working individually or in teams, students will conduct research, analyze data, develop recommendations, and present their findings and proposed solutions to faculty and industry stakeholders. The capstone project provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their readiness to enter the workforce and make meaningful contributions to the field of supply chain management.


Entry Requirements

Applicants should have minimum HND Level 5 or equivalent / or Higher Diploma / or Advanced Diploma / or Associate Degree/ or anything equivalent to Year 1 and Year 2 (university level study) in the field of Business and/or Management, or area of study that matches their BLSCM Top-up specialization

  • Sufficient English language proficiency

  • Applicants should possess basic smartphone or computer operating knowledge and skills


Mature Entry Route (done on case-by-case evaluation basis only):

  • Applicants without any prior tertiary education and qualification should possess at least 6 years of professional working experience in the field of Business, Management, or related areas of work


GRADING SCHEME

EIU-Paris follows the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS academic credits scheme). The ECTS credit system makes degree program and student performance more transparent and comparable all across European Union countries.

BLSCM Grading Scheme:

BLSCM degree program consists of 7 core modules of 7.5 ECTS each and one Capstone Project of 7.5 ECTS making total ECTS for 60 ECTS.

Before the evaluation, the results are divided into two subgroups: Pass and Fail.

The grading system is defined as follows:

Pass:
Higher Distinction: 90-100%
Distinction: 80-89%
First Division: 70-79%
Second Division: 60-69%
Satisfactory: 50-59%

Fail:
Unsatisfactory: 49% and below.


Tuition Fees And Payment Options

The tuition fee for the BLSCM Final Year Top-Up degree is USD2,900. Additionally, there is an Application Fee of USD200.

We offer two payment plans for the BLSCM tuition fee:

(a) Single Payment Option:

Pay the full tuition fee of USD2,900 along with the Application Fee of USD200 upon registration.

(b) Three-Easy-Payment Plan:

- 1st Payment: USD1,500 + USD200 (Application Fee)

  • Pay this amount upon registration and before the commencement of the first online class.

- 2nd Payment: USD750

  • Pay USD750 on the 4th month before the commencement of the live online class.

- 3rd Payment: USD750

  • Pay USD750 on the 7th month before the commencement of the live online class.


Multilingual Assessment Options

Assignments written in Chinese, French, Vietnamese, or Bahasa Indonesia

For students opting to submit their assignments in Chinese, French, Vietnamese, or Bahasa Indonesia, there is an additional Administrative Fee of USD500. This fee can be paid in a single payment upon registration or split into three payments as follows:

  • 1st Payment: Pay USD180-00 upon registration and before the commencement of the first online class.

  • 2nd Payment: Pay USD180-00 on the 4th month before the commencement of the live online class.

  • 3rd Payment: Pay USD180-00 on the 7th month before the commencement of the live online class.


Study Plan

To earn your EIU-Paris BLSCM degree, students will need to complete the required 7 subjects and one Capstone project. Each subject will be covered over the span of one month, with a structured approach to ensure comprehensive learning and assessment.

Here's what you can expect in our study plan:

  • Duration and Subject Coverage: Each month will focus on one subject. Over the course of the program, you will cover seven subjects and complete one Capstone project.

  • Study Material and Links: At the beginning of each month, you will receive access to study materials and links relevant to the subject being covered.

  • Live Online Classes: Live online classes will be conducted twice a month, during the first and third weeks. These sessions, held from 9 am to 5 pm, will feature personalized exercises, quizzes, and interactive discussions to enhance your understanding of the subject matter.

    For students who are busy and unable to attend the live online classes, recorded video classes will be available. This allows students to study at any time and from any place at their convenience.

  • Coursework Assignments: Throughout the month, you will be assigned coursework to reinforce your learning. It is mandatory to submit these assignments before the end of the month.

For the Capstone Project, you will have a maximum of two months to submit your project paper, allowing ample time for research and preparation.

Please note the following policies regarding assignment submissions:

  • LATE SUBMISSION - Students who fail to submit their assignments on time, i.e., by end of the month, will be granted an additional 7 days to submit their assignment with a deduction of 5 marks. Should the assignment remain outstanding beyond this 7-day grace period, students must apply for an extension and submit their assignment before the end of the following month, along with a submission extension fee of USD 50.00.

  • FAIL ASSIGNMENT - In the event of assignment failure, students are required to resubmit the assignment within 30 days upon receiving the results and pay a re-submission fee of USD 30.00.
