Entry Requirement
Possess a recognized Master’s Degree or its equivalent.
Possess at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of specialization the Doctoral Degree is applied for.
Individuals without a Master's Degree have the option to gain admission through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), provided they have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the specific field of specialization relevant to the Doctoral Degree they are applying for.
(Note: RPL applicants are required to pay a USD 500 assessment fee.)

Degree Requirement
Participants pursuing the doctorate degree by research shall complete a seven-phase process.
The doctoral research tutorials are intended to assure the participants have the skills and knowledge to examine the existing scholarly literature, design an effective advanced research study, carry out the project, analyze the data and present the findings in a publishable quality manuscript.
As a minimum degree requirement, doctoral participants must maintain enrollment at EIU-Paris for at least one and one-half calendar years and a maximum period of five years is allowed to complete the programme.

Doctoral Degree Programme Structure
Submit stand-alone/compilation of research-based-written-work (min. 10,000 words and max. 30,000 words).
Defend the submission (scholarly work in the form of a research paper) in front of a panel of experts consisting of both internal and external examiners from both TIMES Global Education Ltd and EIU (oral examination).
Demonstrate that he/she has thoroughly and critically investigated a specific area of research and made an independent and original contribution to the existing body of knowledge as well as professional practice.

Session 1: Attending Research Workshop to Prepare for Your Research Proposal
Upon successful enrollment in the Doctorate Degree program, you will receive an invitation to participate in the 4-day Doctorate Research Workshop 1, which covers Chapter 1, 2, and 3. During this workshop, you will commence your doctoral research journey and prepare your research proposal.
The Research Workshop is conducted in either Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, or Penang.

Session 2: Attending Reseach Proposal Revision Workshop
Four months after attending Research Workshop 1, you will return to participate in a 2-day Research Proposal Revision Workshop.
The Research Workshop is conducted in either Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, or Penang.
Session 3: Proposal Defense
Once you have completed your Research Proposal and it has been approved by your Research Supervisor, we will arrange for you to defend your Research Proposal.
You will defend your Research Proposal in either Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, or Penang.
Session 4: Attending Research Workshop to Complete Your Final Research
Upon successfully passing your Research Proposal Defense, you will receive an invitation to attend the 3-day Research Workshop 2 - "Mastering Research Excellence: Advanced Methodologies, Writing, and Publishing Strategies."
The Research Workshop 2 is held in either Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, or Penang.

Session 5: Attending for Viva Voce Examination
Once you have completed your dissertation and it has been approved by your Research Supervisor, we will arrange for you to defend your dissertation through a Viva Voce examination.
Your Viva Voce will be held in either Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, or Penang.

We are here to support your Doctorate Study. Our Research Professors and Management Team will give you the help and guidance you need to make sure you have a smooth journey in earning your doctorate degree professionally.
You are welcome to re-attend for revisions the 3-day Doctorate Research Workshop 1 for your Research Proposal, as well as the 2-day Doctorate Research Workshop 2 as you move towards completing your Chapter 4 and Chapter 5.
Your Research Supervisor will continue to provide you with personalized 1-to-1 research guidance and support.
Our goal is to empower you with the resources and assistance you need to excel in your doctoral journey and achieve academic excellence.
The minimum study period is 16 months and maximum study period for the EIU Doctoral programme is 3 years from the date of Admission Letter.
If a student does not complete his/her Doctorate study in 3 years, he/she will be required to pay an additional USD900-00 tuition fee for his/her study period from the 37th month to 60th month.
If a student fails to complete his/her study by the 60th month, his/her study with EIU-Paris will be lapsed and he/she will no longer be a EIU-Paris student.

After I have completed my Doctorate degree program, where will I be attending for my Graduation Ceremony?
Every year we will organize two Graduation Ceremony.
One will be held in Paris, France and one will be held in Bangkok, Thailand. You can choose to attend in one of this venue.
Students whose time and budget permits are encouraged to attend the Paris Graduation Ceremony. While students who are busy with work and want to save travelling cost are always welcome to attend our Bangkok Graduation Ceremony.
