The Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) Top-Up programme will help you to develop 21st-century practical knowledge of the corporate world. This degree will enable you to make effective managerial decisions and to successfully communicate with others. You will acquire knowledge in subjects such as business management, human resource management, finance, marketing management and logistics & supply chain management, equipping you with the necessary tools to possibly obtain a position in any industry.

Those who have earned a recognised diploma in business/management field can join the B.B.A. (Top-up) programme and receive a full bachelor degree in one year.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

The programme has the following aims:

PROGRAMME GOALS

MODULES TO BE COMPLETED

Minimum Duration: 12 months 

BUS110 Business Communication (7.5ECTS)
This module will teach learners how to effectively communicate in the business world and how to create professional presentations that will win over an audience.

ECO150 Principles of Economics (7.5ECTS)
This module will dive into economic fundamental activities such as distribution, exchange, production, and consumption.

FIN160 Principles of Finance (7.5ECTS)
This module will help the student further gain the necessary skills to analyse financial statements and begin to understand how to make sound financial plans and decisions.

MKT170 Principles of Marketing (7.5ECTS)
This module will also help learners understand the importance of a good marketing mix, to evaluate product placement, and to be able to outline a company’s marketing plan.

HRM180 Human Resource  Management (7.5ECTS)
This module will help to develop the student’s ability to effectively lead, motivate, communicate and organize the skills that they need to manage HR relationships within a company.

MGT220 Operations Management (7.5ECTS)
This module will enable learners to understand the managing intricacies of how to plan, control, and organize international operations.

BUS240 Sustainable Business Practices (7.5ECTS)
This course develops awareness of sustainability in the business world and how each individual company should do its part to contribute to the well-being of the environment.

MGT260 Logistics and Supply Chain Management (7.5ECTS)
Logistics is the process of managing, planning, and facilitating the flow of products within a supply chain and this module will help the learner to uncover the inner workings of logistics for a company.

MGT380 Business Management Capstone Project (7.5ECTS)
This module will allow the learner to demonstrate his/her knowledge of both theories and the understanding of practical applications in Business Management. By completing the Capstone Project, learners will demonstrate their abilities to apply the necessary theories in real-world applications.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent professional qualification with two years of working experience,

• In lieu of the Bachelor’s degree, applicants will be considered with a recognized Business Diploma (Associate Degree) and a minimum of five years of working experience.

• English ability equivalent TOEFL 600 points.

 
Mature Entry Route (done on case-by-case evaluation basis only):
Applicants without any High School completion qualification should possess at least 8 years of professional working experience.

ADMISSION PROCESS

Applicants must:

1. Submit all of the required documents to TIMES Global Education.

2. Get documents reviewed and verified by the TIMES admissions team (around 5 working days).

3. Receive enrollment confirmation with a Conditional Acceptance Letter and Invoice from TIMES Global Education.

4. Settle the payment.

5. Receive Official Acceptance Letter from EIU.

6. Start the BBA (Top-Up) programme via face-to-face BBA Residential Colloquium.

The grading system is defined as follows:

Pass:
Higher Distinction : 90-100%
Distinction : 80-89%
First Division : 70-79%
Second Division : 60-69%
Satisfactory : 50-59%
Fail:
Unsatisfactory : 49 % and below.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

To receive the EIU-Paris BBA degree, students must achieve the following:

• Complete the course as prescribed in the academic catalog under which the student enrolled.

• Attend the three BBA Residential Colloquium.

• Complete unit and course requirements with a minimum of a 50% ECTS.

BBA TUITION FEES

The EIU-Paris BBA (Top-Up) tuition fee for fully face-to-face taught program is US$4,000-00, plus a one-off USD200-00 Application Fee.

We are now offering 50% scholarship for 2023 intake. The net tuition fee now is USD2,000-00.

You may also choose to pay your BBA tuition fees in 3 easy-payments or Study-Now-Pay-Later. 

I. Three (3) Easy-Payments 

• 1st payment USD750 - to pay upon registration, plus a one-off USD200 Application Fee.

• 2nd payment USD750 - to pay on your 2nd BBA Residential Colloquium

• 3rd payment USD750 - to pay on your 3rd BBA Residential Colloquium
  

II. Study-Now-Pay-Later   

• USD200 Application Fee - to pay upon registration of the program.

• Tuition fee of USD 2,000 plus admin fee of USD500-00 to be paid upon the completion of the BBA program, before awarding of the BBA degree.

BBA (Top-Up) students are required to attend three (3) BBA Residential Colloquium at King Park Avenue Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.


1st BBA Residential Colloquium (1st Month of the Study)
6-day intensive tutorial seminar covering the following modules:

• BUS110: Business Communication (7.5 ECTS)

• ECO150: Principles of Economics (7.5 ECTS)

• FIN160  : Principles of Finance (7.5 ECTS)

*The Residential Colloquium fees is USD690-00.

Optional: Fee for classes with Vietnamese tutorial support is additional USD200-00 per residential colloquium. 

2nd BBA Residential Colloquium (4th Month of the Study)
6-day intensive tutorial seminar covering the following modules:

• MKT170: Principles of Marketing (7.5 ECTS)

• HRM180: Human Resource Management (7.5 ECTS)

• MGT220: Operations Management (7.5 ECTS)

3rd BBA Residential Colloquium (8th Month of the Study)
6-day intensive tutorial seminar covering the following modules:

• MGT380: Business Management Capstone Project (7.5 ECTS)

The fee of each BBA Residential Colloquium is USD690-00, which is inclusive of the following:

What is the duration of the BBA (Top Up) degree program?
The minimum study period for BBA (Top Up) degree program is 12 months and maximum study period is 24 months from the date of Admission Letter. 
 

What if I fail to complete my BBA (Top Up) study in 2 years?
You are allowed to extend your study for another 1 year with the terms and conditions stated below: 

• If the students fail to complete their BBA (Top-Up) study in 2 years, they are required to pay an additional USD 600-00 tuition fee for their study period 25th month to 36th month.

• If the students fail to complete their BBA (Top-Up) study in 36 months, their study with EIU-Paris will be lapsed and they will no longer be EIU students.  
  

Where is the BBA (Top-Up) Residential Colloquium conducted?
All the EIU-Paris BBA Residential Colloquium will be conducted in Bangkok, Thailand

How many times I need to come to Bangkok to study, and how many days of study for each trip?
BBA (Top-Up) students are required to attend 3 BBA Residential Colloquium in Thailand, Bangkok. Each Residential Colloquium is a 6-day intensive tutorial classes. The classes will be from 8.30am to 5.00pm every day.    


After attending the 6-day BBA Residential Colloquium, do I receive any Certificate to proof I have attended this 6-day classes?
Yes. Once you have attended the 6-days BBA Residential Colloquium, you will be awarded with the TIMES Certificate of Participation. This certificate is to certify you have successfully attended the 6-day classes in your BBA (Top Up) degree program.

How are the assessments or grading being done for each subject?
Each subject has a four-part assessment: 

• Class attendance and punctuality - 10 marks

• Depth and extent of active participation during tutorial seminar – 20 marks

• Quiz or Short Exam during the 2 days’ tutorial seminar – 30 marks

• Take home assignment / Reflective Report - 40 marks

Students whose has the time and finance are encouraged to attend the Paris Graduation Ceremony. While students who are busy with work and want to save travelling cost are always welcome to attend our Bangkok Graduation Ceremony.
